Consumed by the Fire is a largely melodic and acoustic collection of songs which nevertheless delves into some surprising sonic territory, including experimental/ambient noise ("Put Me Down") and ten-minute epics ("Tale of Billy and Michelle," "Born Silver"). Produced and performed largely by James M. Masnov with appearances by Jay Pratt and KC D. Lowery on "Tale of Billy and Michelle," and Matt Stevens and Martin Rush on "These Cold and Empty Arms." Features a number of Masonic Block favorites, including "Going Home," "I See It Blind," and "Zen Detective."
